Hi i have strange issue. One specific wifi ssid is not shown/visible in the list of available networks in windows 7. I have tried manually creating a profile for this netowrk. Which is boadcasiting its ssid. And it is 802.1x based authentication. Earlier i was able to use the same network.
But its not shown in the available networks. Tried rebooting system.
Tried disabling and enabling wifi adapter no luck tried manually creating a wifi profile and selecting the option to connect to this network eve if its nto broadcasting. (deleted earlier prfole restarted. Checked list of available networks not shown. Created a wifi profile still not shown.) tried the winsock reset. No luck again this laptop was able to see this ssid earlier.
But not noww. Other laptops and mobile phones can see this ssid. Also this laptop can see other ssids but not this particular one.
It is well with in the range of ap. AP is enterprise class cisco ap.
Any idea how to solve it? Similar help and support threads Thread Forum After changing the SSID login password in my router, my laptop can't connect and it doesn't ask me to enter a new password. How can I login? Network & Sharing I have Toshiba laptop and Win 7.
It is brand new laptop and original windows. I tried to install AWUS036H and it was successful but unfortunately adapter doesn't detect any networks. It happened with my old laptop with Win 7(Acer) and I had to reinstall windows fresh and it worked. But I wouldn't.
Network & Sharing I configure a fair number of wireless routers. As such, over time, my notebook may see the same physical router (access point MAC address) configured to broadcast various SSIDs. After changing the SSID on a access point, Windows is still showing the old SSID in available wireless networks. Network & Sharing Hello, I'm stuck with an issue on a NP-R719 laptop. Wlan with AR9285 chip seems correctly installed, but no SSID is shown and so, internet connection isn't possible. I tried Samsung'site original driver for that model, and 3 other versions from Atheros site, but nothing change.
Drivers I have to re-enter the network security key everytime windows reboots. When I enter Manage wireless networks there are none displayed. When I try to manually add it I get an access denied message. I am able to connect to my network in the available networks list I just can't configure to connect.
